Overview
The course is aimed at those who wish to prove their competence in the maintenance of
Pneumatic Systems in a Production Environment.
This 3/5 Day training course is a hands-on training course designed to help trainees to understand and become competent with working on pneumatic systems.
Course Aim
To enable those working in the relevant industries to be competent in the use of Preventative and Corrective Maintenance strategies when working on Pneumatic Industrial Systems and Components.
Our course provides portable pneumatic training rigs for trainees to operate and gain hands-on experience.

- This is an interactive course that is carried out over 3-5 days.
- No previous Pneumatic experience necessary. However, a basic understanding of compressed air systems would be helpful.
- The course is designed for industrial maintenance personnel to help them diagnose and repair faults in Pneumatic systems.
- Class sizes are limited to a minimum of 2 and maximum of 5, This small class size maximises the opportunity for questions and feedback.
Objectives
AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO:
- Maintain the efficient operation of pneumatic systems
- Interpret Circuit Diagrams
- Identify standard pneumatic components and understand their functions and maintenance requirements.
- Use Pneumatic Circuits to predict the behaviour of machines.
- Explain the Health and safety legislative requirements for air powered machinery.
- Take suitable precautions when working with Pneumatic Equipment
Target Groups
This Pneumatic training course gives a complete overview of compressed air systems, dryers, air receivers, Pneumatic Cylinders and complete range of Pneumatic valves, manual valves, Pilot operated valves, electrically operated Solenoid valves. This course will give a complete overview and distribution and design of compressed air systems, construction and operation of a range of actuators, valves, and ancillary equipment.

- Section 2: Frequently Asked Questions
- Section 3: Compressed Air Equipment Compressors Dryers Air Receivers
- Section 4: Service Units Filter Regulator etc.
- Section 5: Pneumatic Cylinders, Pneumatic Pilot Valves, Electrically Solenoid valves
- Section 6: Understanding Pneumatic Symbols
- Section 7: The Reading of Schematic drawings
- Section 8: Health and Safety requirements
- Section 9: Fault finding.
- Section 10: Theory & Practical Examinations. If needed.

Cost €750 per day (no VAT on training)
NOTE ie. if there are 4 people attending this course, the cost would be €187.50 per person.
NOTE ie. travel expenses over 50km away from office will occur extra cost.
